Your Accessible Curacao Shore Excursion begins when you meet you friendly guide/driver by the cruise dock. Board your accessible van head out on a short drive to the historic center of the capital city Willemstad. Established in 1634, this place offers a unique combination of distinct Dutch architecture and island flair lining the shore. Enjoy a panoramic drive for an overview of the Old Town, including the famous floating market, known for the fleet of boats from Venezuela coming to sell fresh fish and produce. You will also see the 19^th century Renaissance Rif Fort which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Escorted by your tour guide, you will continue to the popular Dinah Verris Herb Garden – an inspiring oasis right in the heart of the island. Learn about the healing traditions of the island and how these have been influenced by the Paraguiri Indians, who were the first to inhabit the east side of Curacao. The Garden was founded and cared for by Ms. Dinah Verris, whom have received many awards within the realm of natural medicine. While here, you will enjoy a guided tour of the fascinating grounds and have an opportunity to taste delicious punch made from jasmine.

The last part of your day will be spent at a local Ostrich Farm. The site has many different things to do including animal interaction, playgrounds, souvenir shops, a restaurant and much more. Interact with the Ostriches, see crocodiles, potbellied pigs and colorful birds, enjoy a short, guided tour of the site to learn about the animals and enjoy some free-time to explore the beautiful Farm spaces. There is also an onsite souvenir shop and restaurant. At the end of your tour, you will be escorted back to the cruise dock.

This accessible shore excursion uses a wheelchair friendly van with a lift or ramp.

On this tour you will enjoy a guided walking/rolling tour at the Dinah Verris Garden. The paths here are mostly flat with gravel or dirt paths. Some areas have uneven surfaces and ramps made out of rock (see photo below)

The Ostrich Farm offers flat surfaces throughout with lots of seating areas.
